Phyllis Michaux
Phyllis is a native of North Carolina where she continues to reside and advocate for improvements throughout the communities. Growing up in a single-parent home with humble beginnings, her grandmother and mother's hard work and persistence provided a solid foundation and a stabilized lifestyle. They ingrained the importance of respect, gratitude, confidence, and selflessness. Phyllis graduated from her local High School, she has a BA in Business Operations Management and she later received her Master's Degree in Liberal Studies from Lenoir Rhyne University.
Phyllis has over 20 years of manufacturing leadership and has worked in the public sector with several non-profit organizations. Each endeavor has allowed her to cultivate a strong work ethic and construct a diverse social platform. In addition to working with local political action committees, she is Chair of the Hickory Community Relations Council, a member of the Parks, Recreation & Sports Tourism Commission, and a member of her neighborhood Marina Board. Phyllis will integrate her knowledge and experience into her journey to advocate for liberty, diversity, equality, and inclusion. She believes in working together to ensure the American dream for every nation's citizens.
